In honor of Women's History Month, here is a special style icon post!
When I think of Women's history, Amelia Earhart is one of the individuals that comes to mind. Her stardom expanded from the 1920s to the 1930s. She had a passion for aviation and was ready to take on anything to make her dreams come true- and she looked good while doing it!
AMELIA EARHART
Was the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean,
Worked as a truck driver, photographer, stenographer,
Excelled at science in high school,
And had a unique image that will always be recognized.

I love this peter pan collar blouse with a bow tie outlined in black piping. Very classic & demure~ I just noticed that cat statue/ghost/thing in the background, haha!

Here she is sporting a stripey halter and a radiant smile.

Amelia, in her signature leather bomber jacket/coat. Don't you just love her fuzzy curls?
Get the look!
Thank you, Amelia Earhart, for paving the way not only for women's aviation, but for women's history. You were very brave!
This Courtney, signing off! *salute*
