So, you want to mix prints? Me too. Here are some tips I pulled together. Happy print - mixing!
{ 3. 2 PRINTS}
In this outfit, two simple pieces are paired up. They are both navy & white, (color- coordination!) but we never thought stripes and polka dots could go hand in hand! Observe how the circular details on the necklace play with the dotty print of the skirt. If you're still scared- try sticking with black & white pieces!
{ 4. BOLD DUO} via Flashes of Style
Hold on: don't be intimidated! Stripes + floral are the ultimate wild & colorful pair-up. Like I mentioned in #2, stick to a loose color palette. See how both the skirt & crop top have black? And the skirt & satchel have yellow? And the list goes on... have fun experimenting!
{ 1. LACE & A PRINT}
For us beginner print- mixers, start by experimenting with textures. In the above picture, the lace doesn't stand out as its own print, but it contrasts with the pretty floral skirt. Minimal girly accessories pull the look together. Stick with flats, sandals or wedges for this look.
{ 2. ONE IN THE SAME}
The look pictured above is a a step up from #1, but still subtle. The trick with patterned outfits is to stick to one color palette. Notice how both pieces contain the color white? Neutral shoes and little accessorizing keep it chic and simple.
